For transformation ratio: The meters should be used with a current transformer of which primary current is 10A 15A 20A 25A 30A 40A 50A 60A 75A 100A 120A 15…10KA and external secondary current 1A or 5A. As long as overload rate and the incoming current keep the same, dials scales of all medels in this series can be exchanged yet remain the accuracy.

Product performance: All the meters are equipped with pure white silk-screen printing dial scale. The movement of bimetallic instrument meters is made of processed imported bimetallic materials so that it is of good thermal stability, vibration-resistance and heat-resistant. The case is made of oridinary ABS plastics or flame retardant ABS plastics, of which the resistant temperature can be up to 85℃. The base is made of PC plastics or flame retardant PC plastics, of which the resistant temperature can be up to 120℃. The resistant voltage is higher than 2000V. This kind of meter is easy to install which high-strengthen plastic grip piece by screwing down the nut so that the meter is of high immobility.
Principles of measurement and the fearures: Each bimetallic instrument meter consists of two bimetallic wire rods, of which the force directions are the oppsite, a diversion thread and a transmission shaft. According to the theory that bimetallic materials expand when heated and contract when cooled, heat emerges when the measured current flows through the diversion thread and one of the bimetallic wire rods, so that the black pointer on the transmission shaft deflects under the circumstance that bimetallic wire rod expands when heated, which leads to the deflection of the red pointer. The scale mark that the red pointer points to is the measured value. Bimetallic instrument meters can be merely used in AC circuit indicated by MAX AVERAGE. The advantages are of good thermal stability and simple structure, and they can as well be used in 50Hz/60Hz circuits. The advantage is the low overload capacity. Special frequency should be marked out in ordering.
